We believe the only mission an amplifier has is to amplify the output without distorting the input signal.
To achieve exact reproduction of the original sound and to maximize the performance of the Eclipse TD series, a powerful Time Domain amplifier is needed - one that focuses on the accurate replication of audio waveforms.
While many amplifiers produce an enormous amount of output power, the A502 requires a mere 30W+30W to achieve peak performance from a speaker.
Using the TD range's unique shapes and mechanisms, the A502 has a simple structure with no tone controls or equalisers that would disturb its outstanding phase characteristics. Its conical shape has been chosen for the main body in order to prevent resonance and the standing waves that are commonly generated by sound pressure.
The A502 is compatible with many audio playback devices. It amplifies the music signals reproduced by other audio players, from portable units to component systems, without waveform alteration. It then transmits the amplified signal to the speakers.
For the highest level of sound reproduction, play the amplifier signal through Eclipse TD speakers.
